You Don't Know Me (Eddie Arnold & Cindy Walker)

Favorite version is by Elvis from “Clambake,” but the Danny and Reba version of this song on “The Voice” (U.S.) finale really impressed me. He was my first choice but came in 4th.

My version is more in the style of Brooks & Dunn, taking me back to the 90s when my friend and I were known as “Brooks & Dunn,” because, well, those were our last names back then - one Brooks and the other Dunn. Walked into the room and somebody would say, “Here come Brooks & Dunn” - lol! We had a lot of fun with that. She went for the classic good looks of Brooks and I went for Ronnie Dunn, mostly for his vocals. Love Ronnie Dunn!

The video is clips of various scenes from our recent cruise.

a worthy addition to the multitudes of covers of this classic. i never get tired of hearing new versions. surprisingly, i dont remember elvis singing it in clambake, even though i have the soundtrack album. i like the absence of rhythm in your version, how the song drifts in and out of its frame. just wtched the scene from speedway. weitrd sequence, with elvas wandering arounf all thouse boat, the, picking up a flower. i like his singing on the bridge.
