Here is a song I did with a FAWMer (Kelly) about 2 years ago. It’s her fav song so I am posting it again. She did the drums and organ I did the guitar bass and piano.
Whole of the Moon by the Waterboys (1985)
Really pro sounding - right up there with the best! Lovely song! (I listened earlier and wondered where it went)…
Great mix. Not familiar with this one, but you have piqued my interest with this group.
I’ve always loved this song; great job tackling it!
Grab the “This is the Sea” album. It’s a great starting point.
This is such a great song! The instrumental track is so well done - great guitar work Garry. I love her vocals and how you mixed them. She really made this her own.
Great version of a top song. I like the slight lengthening of the ‘too’ compared to the original, it puts a nice stamp on the vocals.
Well done! Now I’m tempted to upload my “Girl called Johnny” cover from years ago. Yes, diehard Waterboys fan here
Do it…I love the Waterboys…No strong rules for this site! Love to hear it your cover of Girl Called Johnny!
Lovely stuff! Enjoying the softer, mellower vibe vs the original’s slightly more bombastic energy. Really suits the female vocal. Awesome guitar rhythms as always!
I love this song. Great version!
Love the Waterboys - this is a wonderful interpretation. Dreamy vocal and a big full-band sound. Sounds great in my headphones!
Great cover track, well done, great mix and orchestration.
