The Heart of Worship - cover, 1 st take 1 pass another Ai pop up prev never played

Links direct to BandLab track:

Well, the last thing I want to do is “just put” stuff here. However, if even, really “challenged” sounding : ) lol! … well, that can’t be the reasons not to do so!

So… I’m finding some, to me, old, long ago heard songs that are popping up from my “Ai” suggestions, this end of the year “season” of music - genre.

So, my “Ai” suggestions of really just extra stuff that comes in a hit in the search engine entirely unrelated to the search is sometimes interesting if not curious.

For some reason I received this hit on a page of songs, and this, and maybe another three I recognized was there.

So, again - a 1st pass, 1 take, never played previously song.

When I first heard it, it was always a keyboard-ed-ed : ) song… it, to me, has a challenging meter (pattern of beats, pulses) - and likely because a - “piano” song, with a pedal and many chords banged together as a keyboard may do - however, not a guitar : ) or, not mine lol!

If I might get my Right Hand to connect to my Mouth over time, playing it, then - well, then, good! : ) To even feel through this one I had to play it all “down stroked/strummed” only and try to “forget” I was strumming, so to speak.

So, a few more songs/tracks have shown up and tend to be, for some reason within the Christian Folk, “Contemporary” - genre - so, that’s what’s coming in the short term (holiday season and all appropriate I suppose anyway : ) ).

  • It’s a weird thing, and hard for me to explain - I get asked often to play, but after I’m there, not prior : ) And then, they’re surprised I might want 1 if not 2 mics and a chair lol!, oh, and a music stand for the lead-sheet for the song I’ve never previously even seen - wow! aye!? : ) (And then, it’s in “Piano” not “Guitar” LOL!!, so to speak… meaning in part, I can play just one chord for the 3-4 they indicate and would sound somewhat “sour” if I did play them all from a guitar - tuning and intonation being what it is between disparate instruments in “strange venus”.) Anyway… I digress TLTR again…

  • So, with this one, again due to the for me “odd meter” - I even tried to use a metronome - eh, no help. In my mind “heard” it on beat (so weird), but not when played it back - wow, sounded really not good, not “on beat” - not even nicely “syncopated” (but yes on tempo). But, I am very critical. The meter, to me, changes within phrases it seems, pending to what you listen to. A “guitar simplified” “orchestration” for me, would previously need to be worked out. And so I do this/these.

So, eh, to me there’s a “something” here in all of “this” and seems some here may find it all interesting and/or relatable; so, again, not just “dumping” it here for the sake of it, so to speak, just to say. Otherwise, hahhh, just ignore it : )

Really enjoyed this! Nice flow/rhythm to it, highlighted by your growly vocals, which gives life to the lyrics.
