She Loves You (The Beatles)

This is so far from The Beatles that YouTube didn’t recognize it, because, for once this Rocktober, I didn’t get a copyright mark.

As for the visual, what better representation for “She Loves You” than my childhood playground from when I first heard this song.

Btw, I plugged in the chords from the original but this is what my session players and I came up with. I just realized I forgot to change the key - oh well, I kinda like it this way.

exellent mutation of a song that really needed such a treatment.

Looking through my Beatles sheet music, I wanted to do “Come Together,” but I knew that wasn’t happening - lol!

Kind of a trippy take, but a cool one. Nicely interpreted.

Ooh this is fun! It’s always daring to do the Beatles differently, but I like this.

I like this different sort of take on a song which is so familiar as to be tired. You’ve breathed new life into it.

The echo is such a strong statement. I notice it to varying degrees on a lot of your covers – do you think of it as a signature? This has a Twin Peaks’ soundtrack Julee Cruise feel to it with the droning background chords. Pretty vocals.

Thank you. I’ve been compared to Twin Peeks before. In looking for my sound, I use 2 plugins for vocal production: CLA vocals with the “Live” setting and Logic Pro’s Delay plug-in with the “Echo” setting. I try to dial it down so it’s not too overwhelming and, depending on the song, it’s often around 25%. Thanks again!
