Last one from me for tonight. If you’ve heard the original of this - well done you… it’s quite different to my version. Basically, this was a super cheesy pop song that was played incessantly at the student clubs when I was at university in the early 00s. The original has a kind of modern motown vibe. The words are an endless stream of cliches. And yet… it was SO much fun to dance to with your friends. I think you had to be there. I don’t know why I’ve reimagined it as a piano ballad. Sometimes these things just happen…

i have always had a soft spot for this song, don’t mind a bit of cheese. This works so well in this piano ballad style, your vocals are great! Nice to see you over here, i’m new here

the beginning sounds just like elvis presley’s verison of my way. then it morphs into a donna summer-'like groove. i like this kind of song when it is performed the way you do it here. the lyrics might be trite, but the emotion in the music is strong.

Cheese and cliches, so what, this has always been a perfect pop song for me.

But wow oh wow, you have given me goosebumps, I can’t put into words how much I love what you have done here. Please let me know if you have posted this on any public platforms as I would love to share it with people not on here.

And I can guarantee you that every British person on here has heard the original a gazillion times!

With your Kylie cover still in my head, this one almost has a Stock Aitken Waterman vibe I reckon, the chord progressions in the verse and pre-chorus are really cool, and there’s that obligatory key change ending! Thank you so much for the kind comment. I did put it up on Soundcloud earlier today if that works: Stream Reach (S Club 7 cover) by david taro | Listen online for free on SoundCloud - really glad you enjoyed it

This one is new to my ears. Lovely piano and heartfelt vocals. What a beautiful, uplifting song. Sounds perfect as a piano ballad - well done!
