Cover 4
“Paint It Black” by Keith Richards and Mick Jagger for The Rolling Stones (1966)
Acoustic one-take cover on Low G ukulele
I’m a fan of most any Stones, live, live recorded, video - well done. Well orchestrated, vocal dynamics - and again, such a clean recording and fidelity across (using, this morning) my ancient chrome book with 3mm speakers : ) lol! - I’ll have to re-listen with HP’s on.
You have such a cool voice for this! I recorded a version but not that happy with it. Well done!
I just heard this one on a playlist of hits of 1966 - the year I was born. Great song, and your version is awesome! Cool strum/percussion patterns, and your lovely voice totally fits the emotion of the song. Good one!
Wow, I would never have thought this would translate so well to a uke! Great cover. Your voice works great for this.
one of my favorite rolling stones song.i always liked the fierce darkness inside it, but nver appreciated how pretty the song was until now.
Great job! Putting it on the uke somehow makes the proto-goth aspect more clear.
