Oh Shenandoah!, Traditional arrangement by Bill White

through the decades it had been transformed from the original story about how the friendship between chief shenandoah and a fur trader ended when the white man kidnapped his daughter and took her away across the missouri river. the song was hijacked by missouri river men as a shanty and by the people of the shenandoah valley as a regional anthem, today i tried to restore it to its original form and thought someone might enjoy the restoration.
