i dont know what the plan is on how long th site will be up, but there are a lot of zongs to bust and plenty of songs i havent had the opportunity to hear yet, so ill stick around as long as its here to catch up…and post something new ehrn the inspiration strikes…starting today with spider and the fly, one of my favorite rolling stones non-singles from their early days, what are your plans?
Let’s keep it running!
I have a suggestion… Let's bust some zongs! 💣, and once there are no more zongs left, we can start posting covers again.
great idea. no more song posts until all zongs are busted.
Think zongbusting before any more posts is a great idea, and I know there are a load of single comment songs that I need to get around to listening to as well.
I’ve not recorded anything new for about 10 days anyway but I’m hoping that my wrist injury might be sufficiently recovered that I can at least pick up my ukulele over the weekend- start with 4 strings before I move to 6!
And if we are still going in December then there are ALL the Christmas songs that need to be covered
Heres my plan. I won’t post any here until zongs are busted, though. In December I post one Christmas/Hanukkah/wintry song per day from Dec. 1 through Epiphany (Jan 6) and call it my Ukulele Advent Calendar. I’ve been doing it for years.

I think it would be fun to keep the website running all year-long, and we can do thematic months. And the 1st of every day could be the zong-busting day.
i look forward to hering your versions of these songs. but if you are going to do more taylor swift, how about showing some love for lana del rey?
I’ve done Happiness is a Butterfly! Hers don’t get requested from my students and jam group (other than that one), so I’ll have to learn another one from scratch. I’ll keep an ear out for one I think I can sing.
