A very good cover. The guitar is perfect for this arrangement and the vocal is strong and full of emotion.

I love this song! Nice work. Do you use your guitar as percussion or do you have a separate percussion track? Perfect and understated

I am unconsiously banging on my guitar.

nice…i always played this song…from busking in the tube '90 onwards

Good performance of this song by one of my favourite songwriters. Suzanne Vega is such a beautiful storyteller.

i have seen her several times, and feel her to be the very best songwriter of the late eighties. she came to prominence through a group very much like fawm. they met every monday night to share and comment on each others songs and every month put out an album of them whicht hey called fast folk magazine. she continued with this group throughout her career, no matter how successful her career became, she never failed to present each new song to her fellow songwriters. her first two albums are classics. i liked her best as a solo artist, and felt that the band arrangements mucked up the lean archetecture of her songs. the last time i saw her was in 2005, when she gave a free solo concert in a local coffeehouse on the afternoon of her concert, which i found more exciting than her full band concert at a theatre that night.
