In fact, this may be the best version I’ve heard. When this guy I was not interested in became engaged to somebody else, my mother said, “Guess he found somebody who lit his fire.” Your vocals made her statement come totally alive!
you capture the feel of feliciano’s guitar with your piano. taken as a whole, though, your own style comes through and your vocal interretation is all your own. personally, i like your version better because of the subtler vocals, none of that lightmyfirelightmyfirelightmyfire nonsense.
It totally works to my ears. Love your expressive vocals and styling, and your wonderful piano arrangement and playing.
