I adore the Dixie Cups version. And I found myself singing along to your cover. How fun!

i always enjoy the unique versatility of your ukelele arrangemenets, and this one is particularly special in the way you use it in the same way the dixie cups used sticks. and then when you strum the occasional chord, it adds a new dimension. really love what you did with this old favorite.

Cool cover. I like combination of muted strums and full chord strums - well done - that must have been tricky. I can feel the joy you get from singing this song. The lower end of your vocal range is very pretty.

Singing along, loving the smile on your face as you were clearly enjoying this one.

First learned of this song through the Grateful Dead, then discovered the Doctor John version, and later the Dixie Cups.
Love your delightful take on one of my all-time favorites! And your joy shines through in the video!

This is such a fun song! You really rocked it perfectly. I love your “percussion”. And how did you get that fun gold stardust in the video?!? So cool.

I’m too lazy to use audio filters, but I do like to throw in a video filter now and then. I believe this one was from the iphone app “Filto.”
