This a favorite song (if I had them : ) ) and especially from when a kid 'till now. I used to enjoy sitting with Pete and the rest at the Hudson Clearwater Revivals - just fun. And as a “kid”, had no idea or cared who any of them were lol!
Anyway - this is a great recording, so clean and well done. One cold drop this into any other backing dubs and make it go so many different ways. It was great hearing this song this morning!
you have two of the trio covered. mary didnt play an insrument. and that is an amazing ukelele arrangement. strong, forceful vocals as well.
This was always a primary school favourite, although without any of the dynamics or thought of the meaning of the lyrics that you have in your performance! Very nice.
This really is such a classic - and I really enjoyed PP&M’s version. I love how Pete wrapped it up in that last verse - such great writing. The bright uke sounds great, and your vocals too. Nice cover.
Nice version…really nice job.
