It originates from a flow of thought bunch of words from a few days back I emailed back to myself that seemed to tell a story, sort of? - so to speak.

When I thought about it. I found a few things that came to mind - mind pictures as I call them. So, I suppose then, that it’s vague enough, that others may relate to it some how?

  • I think it’s more of an ink blot test of revelation of the listener. Well, I hope so, and that it’s good stuff for them, lol!, and not otherwise.

It just kept poking at me and I just could not find a melody. I sort of chunked one in - 1st pass. Very pedestrian ish as I see things, hear them : ) lived with it a day and poked me some more.

Fortunately I did capture a noodling, like a pre-1st-pass : ) - this now - chord progression. I wrenched on it a while and then searched for “dynamics” since not a “hook-y” melody. It seemed to sound “better” slower tempo and “darker”, so to speak, and with the Capo on 02.

Since folks appear to be in/out/about here, I figured I’d link it - if anyone has comment-feedback. I maybe did not mention that I am a “both barrels” receiver of comment, never a problem - I just want a why and solution if have it. That “why” rubric is something I pushed at Berkeley Coursera - where it became (the orig rev of that sight) - folks/Trolls - not liking a kind of music, and so it was “no good” - and so the change (not sure what’s it’s become sine then : ) ).

  • As I’ve said, I’m no fan of Opera, but know a good one when hear it and can say why - granular-ly : ) lol! (… or, i used to; I just don’t care enough about classical music theory to think in that language anymore).

I enjoyed listening – some great playing in there, and I like the hammer-on vibes and tone of your vocals. Nice ending moment with “realistic,” too.
