this wild phibes-like attack on the keys makes me wish brian wilson had played the phantom of the paradise rather than paul williams. I love the maniacal flavor that was always an undercurrent even in the beach boys most harmonious moments.

Really nice and strong keys on all those luscious Beach Boys chords and progressions. I don’t think I know this song, but it does sound very Beach Boys to my ears.
