you hear about songs getting people through hard times. well, this whole album (white lilies island) got me through most of 2002 intact.
I loved Natalia Imbruglia’s first album, it was one of those that every one of my friends seemed to own, but I must have moved on by the time of her next release. I just listened to her original version and it has that big pop production of its time, such a contrast with your acoustic version.
It’s a beautiful song and I feel like you have captured it perfectly.
