I’m still working through this/a - page of these “recommended” P&W songs.
This is (my track) - how I was “feeling it” an, acoustic-simplified arrangement at about half the length of the original and a more brisk tempo; what I refer to as “more for congregational singing vs “performing””. Most of the original track is the verses and chorus repeated several times. For me, too - they seem to jam as many words in as possible that I didn’t think needed to be there and I don’t think are “congregationally singable” - how to say that… (?).
For me, how I hear the original, it what I’d refer to as, describe as - “like” a mono-chorded, heavy pedal (piano) - “performed” vs congregationally engaged song and this (my track), as you hear it is what came out, how I’ll describe as “reflexive” (super fast while reading it through). It took only as long as retyping the pasted in lyrics. I did have to, for me, if to ever engage it for real - tweak a few words that for me - seemed jammed in versus per the syntax rhythm I was feeling.
I personally don’t have patience for 4 min + (per some covers I heard of the original track). If even I am playing them, then : ) want to rush/end them : ) When I’d see material like this, often in my experience the congregation is listening, not engaging, so not sure what their “feeling” in those “feeling it” types of performances (as I refer to them - everyone’s got-an-opinion : ) )…
- Some folks are very particular to want to sing every Ummm, and Ahhhh in a lyric, lol! - so this may never get used.
If interested in what I understand to be the “original” (“award winning”) track:

(remove the spaces I added to unlink it to see, or re-search for your own).
I never heard this or these folks previously and not really into the “Hillsong” (style of) material over all, especially the older/originally popular stuff.
So, this is another 1-pass 1-take, hahhh… quickly rearranged, acoustic-simplified take on it.
