One of my favorite songs - learned it on piano when I was a kid, and played a guitar version when I was in a band in college.
you have a peter paul and mary sond happening here, and you dont even need the two guys.
You’ve really captured the style I really like and that it a powerful bit of guitar. Nicely same but different.
Great job; I like your right hand work - sub-rhythms can lead to extended jam sessions, so, they appeal to me. Why not make it a 15 min one-track performance I always say, lol!
When Dylan first wrote this in '62, it was a song fragment - yay - for recording one or two verses and even performing them as-is! lol! (eh, finish it later if folks even like it!? - Amen!) PP&M got it from his people and then became, by per chance cultural appeal an “anthem” during the '60’s - common knowledge.
- We should all be so fortunate!
You’ve made it smooth and sweet. Very pretty interpretation!
Beautiful build up with the harmonies (and tambourine!), the third verse is so good.
