in 2006. gregg keplinger asked me if i wanted to front an r &b cover band. i had been working with a fantastic soul singer named lisa marshal and i told him i would do it if i could bring lisa into it and we could do a boy gitl ct, like marvin gaye and tammi terell. he was up for it and we rehearsed a number of songs but it wasnt working. so i suggested we do original tunes instead. inbound love was something lisa and i had been writing. she wrote and sang the middle part and i wrote and sang the rest, with lisa harmonizing on the chorus. this track is from a rehearsal with lisa on bass, me on guitar and gregg on drums. eventually i wrote another verse for i, but this earlier verson is the only recording i have with lisa, and although it is just a rehearsal, i like it and think it worth sharing. eventually gregg kicked me out of the band and worked alone with lisa, and then she quit him and started her own band. since then, she has built up an enviable following for her solo career. https://www.lisamarshallmusic.com/
