I’ve done a songwriting workshop with Dar Williams and read her book but don’t actually know many of her songs. Appreciated hearing this cover from you.
I knew her slightly in the year before her first album was released. at the time she had a comedy folk dui with her boyfriend, which I didnt think highly of. thenher album came out and i was blown away. over the next years I came to esteen her as the best writer of her time. i got to see her live a coule of times and reconnected with her backstage where we recalled mutual friends. she is still at it, and her latest album is excellent.
